Cormer Aerospace

Cormer Aerospace specializes in precision high speed machining and integration of aerospace metallic components. Since it was established in 1988 as a regional machine shop, Cormer Aerospace has become a state of the art precision high speed machining and integration supplier to aerospace customers including Boeing, Bombardier, Gulfstream and others.

In an effort to diversify and offer greater value to their customers Cormer Aerospace wished to investigate developing an aerospace composite manufacturing capability and CIC was approached to coordinate the preparation of a business plan to evaluate this opportunity. The CIC, Cormer Aerospace and a consultant, Tarry and Associates collaborated in completing the business plan. The CIC’s role was to provide project management and subject matter expertise.

Of the CIC’s participation in this project, Mr. Andrew Corner, President of Cormer Aerospace says, “The level of sophistication embodied within your group with respect to subject matter knowledge and project organization skills is clearly unchallenged in the industry. Your team provided focus, clarity and insights that proved absolutely on the mark every time”.

Cormer Aerospace sees CIC as a valuable resource and partner for future projects. “Cormer Aerospace looks forward to the next opportunity that we will have to work together with you and your team in the near future,” Mr. Corner says.
